Dirty Boulevard

“Dirty Boulevard a no-algorithm street with genre-less musical jaunts. Post Punk to French Mile to Brit Pop to Jazz Badass to Rock Immortals and Song Genius. Occasional Moderate sarcasm, social mockery, and a Tom Waits song every show. Music Moves the Soul.”

Project Description + Visual Identity:

Originally hired for merchandise design. Quickly, I saw the opportunity to create a cohesive and consistent visual identity.

Let’s be real Dirty Boulevard is cool, it’s the type of radio station where you actually get to listen to all your favorite genres, not just the top 10 hits of the months over and over and over again. It needed branding that reflected its eclectic and vibrant nature.

So that is exactly what I did.

Custom typography for the primary logo that feels just as unique as the show. It’s a little punk rock, grungy, yet funky enough to relay the “genre-less” nature of DB.

The color pallet is bold, vibrant, and packs a punch. Perfect for adding a little extra oomph in a poster, social graphic, or t-shirt. They all look great together, but can stand alone and still make impact.

Objective:
Eclectic. Fun. No Limits.

A collage of various punk, rock, and metal band stickers, artwork, and posters, including a black skull with a second skull's face layered inside, words like 'trash machine,' 'lost and found,' and 'star drive,' surrounded by abstract shapes, wires, and electronics.
